Things to Do

If you’re arriving early or you would like to check out the area, here are some local attractions.

NSA- National Security Agency Cryptology Museum

Right next door to the Marriott is the Museum. It’s free to the public and shows all sorts on interesting cryptology history.

Historic Savage Mill

Get a feel for the location of the reception early! The mill has a restaurant, Ram’s Head complete with a restaurant, bar, and rathskellar. There are also plenty of shops like the Polish pottery shop, art and clothing stores, a games store, and an antiques mall. There are also snacks and ice cream there too.

The Mall in Columbia

If you want to shop and eat, there’s plenty to do at the mall. It’s a few miles away. Just be sure to give yourself extra time to get away from the circular roads in Columbia.

Inner Harbor

Just a short drive away, the Inner Harbor has lots of fun tourist attractions, like the Poe House, Chessie Boats, Maryland Science Center, The National Aquarium, and much more!
